Showing up on Google Search :: NOT READY!

  • I am a beginner in setting up my blog through WordPress and have everything stored in an unlinked directory on my server as I work on it. When I Google Search my blog it shows up already and I’m not ready for people to find/visit my blog yet! Can I block this search function temporarily until I am ready to launch my blog? I don’t want it to show up in a Google search (or any other search engine) until it’s ready to go. Thanks!

    Great, thanks! Once I check that option how long before I see it disappear from the Google search? Thanks again.
