custom contact us form

Hi to all.

I am new to WP and php, i’m sure this problem is quite easy to solve. I’ve created my own “Contact us form” and then try to upload php file which would send form inputs to my email, however that doesn’t seem to work like with no-WP website. Can anyone tell me how that should be done in WP.
