I have been/am using Clean Talk with several wordpress sites, mostly using godaddy as the host. When I did an update 06/03/21 it started to act up and I did get an email from WordPress saying it was due to a conflict with your plugin. I deactivated it and this morning the site is responding fast again.

Question: I have a paid version and would like to use it; can we resolve that conflict somehow?

    Can you help me please?

    Hello,

Could you deactivate the plugin with the “Complete deactivation” option enabled and then delete it?

    1. Enter the Antispam by Cleantalk plugin settings. (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings)
    2. Check the last settings “Complete deactivation” and save changes.
    3. Deactivate the plugin on the “Plugins” page in WordPress Dashboard.
    4. Then delete it.
    5. Install the latest version from the WordPress catalog.
    5. Proceed to the plugin’s settings. (See item 1.)

    Did it help?

If not, please tell us more details about the issue.

I deleted it and installed Version 5.158.1 through WordPress Admin. So far, so good! Site not slowing.

    Thanks for your help!
