Reinstalling plugin, facing greyed out options (Select catalogue)

I was trying to reinstall the plugin on a site that I am the Business Admin to. However, the following error showed up at the “Select catalogue” stage:
– Something went wrong – this catalogue is unavailable at the moment.
– You need to request edit permissions to select this catalogue.
– Catalogue has an existing data source that cannot be used by this application(Original catalogue created by the plugin when I managed to connect it to Facebook in 2017)
Creating a new catalogue gave a different error:
– Catalogue is not associated with the shop tied to your Page or Instagram account.
As the original catalogue was already associated to the Page shop and Commerce Manager, there’s no option or settings available to remove that.
Note that the connection issue and had been persistent since the switch from the previous authentication method and the new one from a few months back (5 months?).
