I am having an issue that I would like to get help with. When someone hits are main domain, let’s say:

    https://www.domain.com

It automatically redirects them to a product page in WooCommerce such as:

    https://www.domain.com/product/red-candle/

When they hit the checkout page, there is just a spinning wheel near the bottom where the credit card information is.

This used to work, but I’m guessing a recent WordPress update has broken this.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this without too much trouble?

    Thank you

    Hi there ??

I want to let you know that several factors could cause the endless spinning issue.

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

However, ff disabling all the plugins and changing to a WordPress default theme didn’t solve the issue, then this problem could be caused by your hosting. To know other possible solutions for this issue, please check the following article from our documentation:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/endless-loadingspinner-on-the-checkout-page/

    I hope this helps ??

Thank you for the reply. The first thing we did was deactivate every plugin and change to a default WordPress theme and it is still happening.

It is definitely being caused by the redirect situation outlined above.

Just don’t know how to solve it without removing the redirect (which we need to keep)

I see! Let’s check if there is an error on the WooCommerce Logs. So please, provide us the following:

    • System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • Error log: share a copy of the fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available)

    Thanks!
