HI @sanjeev08, I recently experienced something similar and found that it was due to me being logged into my wp storefront with my wp admin account. Which doesn’t exist within BigCommerce at all. Try to log out and log back in to your WP storefront with a user that is stored in the “Customers” tab of your BigCommerce Control Panel.

Note: Be aware of customer groups when logging in with users, as some products may be missing if you log in with a limited view customer. ??

Let me know if this helps!

Hi, I have been struggling with 404 errors for months now and found that the product pages do exist when I am logged out as you stated. But what is the fix? I need to be logged in to view and edit products with live css and page builders, so I cannot keep logging in and out to view and edit my products. Can I create an editor account or something, so I can still edit products, but just not an admin? Or can I create some kind of admin user within bigcommerce with same email and username? Also, it seems even if I am logged in as a customer within wordpress, I still cannot view products. I need to be logged out completely to avoid the 404 product page errors. I am tired of trying to fix this issue now, if it persists I will be moving to Woo so a reply would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @andrewbird84, as I mentioned above, the workaround to this is logging out of admin. However, I completely understand that this is not an ideal solution, so I am looking into this for you now. I’ll be back with an update once I have one from the Product teams.

    Hi, @andrewbird84.

I was wondering if we could get a little more information about the circumstances that are leading up to the issue you’re experiencing.

1.) Do you have multi-channel enabled?
2.) Are you experiencing this on all products or only specific ones? If only specific ones, do the afflicted products share any properties in common (brand, special characters in the name, common variant options, special pricing rules, etc)?
3.) Do you have any caching plugins or caching server features active that may be influencing page delivery?

@andrewbird84, as Heather mentioned above, the more we think through your problem, the more it sounds like Customer Groups are the culprit. Can you please confirm that:

1.) Your products are not isolated to specific Customer Groups
2.) Your admin user is not assigned to a Customer Group

Hi, I do have customer groups on Bigcommerce, as they are needed for wholesale and retail customers. What would be the solution, or is there not one? I need to retain these customer groups, or at least ensure wholesale products are given just to the wholesale customers. Is it not possible to have the customer groups within WordPress? Also the 404 happens when logged in as a customer too. So I cannot use the workaround. We have many retail and wholesale customer accounts, and if we switch to wordpress, we need full functionality for wholesale and retail.

I have posted login credentials to your community email address as requested. As I have opened a new thread I will stop replying to this one, and just reply to my own thread to save confusion.
