Issues with meta descriptions and site titles

Hi everyone I am using Woodmart as a theme and Yoast for my SEO. The issue I am having is that none of the meta descriptions I input show up on google. The site titles I use also do not get updated. I’m not really understanding why this is happening and I have tried deactivating and reactivating yoast, but it doesn’t work.
