Bug: facebook page is shown as author in meta tag

  • Hi there,

    when an author has a facebook page in their profile, this meta code gets created:

    <meta property="article:author" content="https://www.facebook.com/...

    How can I avoid this?

    The only setting I see is “Show the Open Graph Profile in meta for each author” but since this is not an Open Graph tag, it is not the correct setting for it (plus, it’s set to “No” already anyway).

    P.S.: In addition to fixing the above mentioned bug (meaning not showing a facebook URL as “author”), how do I get the plugin to create the actual, correct author meta tag (not Open Graph) ?
