Stopped counting

    The plugin stopped counting shares. After initial start it does not count additional shares. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

  • Same here. It stopped counting shares.

    This seems to be a glitch with facebook. We hope it will be solved soon.

    It has not been fixed yet. Any idea if this is going to happen? Or should we all be looking for a new plugin?

    At the moment, there is no way for us to get back the share count from Facebook as Facebook changed their API.

    If we find a solution, we let you know here.

    So @renehermi that’s it? Too bad, it’s a great plugin. Any glimpse of hope Facebook shares will be counted again?

    It seems the numbers are inflated (for some reason) either because it’s picking it up from other social media like Twitter, etc.. or it’s working again?

    @wafwaf the shares are collected by sharedcount.com. Unfortunately, We have no possibility to control this external service in any way. So the accuracy of the returned share count can not be guaranteed in any way by MashShare.

    I am sorry for not having a better answer.
