Show text if no books exist

I am looking for a way to display a text if the shortcode with the assigned category does not contain any books.
Please, can you help me?
Maybe I can achieve it through a code in my child theme functions.php
I would appreciate it very much, this is very important to me.

you can create your own shortcode and check books using WP_Query, if there are books – return do_shortcode(‘[3d-flip-book …][/3d-flip-book]’), else return ‘your text’.
