Issue with Multisite

Hello,
I have been using the plugin for a few months now and am very satisfied. We allow our users up to eight simultaneous sessions before they are logged out.
Yesterday we added the wordpress multisite functionality to our existing site as we want to run a second similar website. Since then, however, we have noticed that in all browsers you have to log into your account again after about 8 hours. What could be the reason for this? Is there a solution for this?
