UM Forums – Reply Event

    I have implemented GamiPress on my site that heavily relies on Ultimate Member. I want to award points to Users for posting Replies in the UM Forums. I have tried these EVENTS but none work.

    When: Comment on a post of a type: Topic
    When: Comment on a post of a type: Forum
    When: Comment on a post of a type: Reply

    None of these events trigger the points. The only point redeem I am able to get working successfully is Daily Site Visit.

    If this isn’t built into the site yet, is there a guide somewhere for me to try to code it myself? I am fairly handy with back end. Thanks! I love the plug-in so far and would love to see more events for UM soon!

    Hi @jessfalco

    The “Comment on a post of type” event only works if the plugin you are using uses the WordPress comments system.

    But probably, since is the UM forums module, those topic, forum and replies are posts, not comments, for that the event of “Publish a post of a type” will be able to handle them

    The best way to meet it is to write to the UM team and they will let you know if those forums, topics and replies are posts or comments
