Hi guys! I have created a ccokie policy with your plugin, and have inserted it to the page https://tollreclaimgermany.com/datenschutz Then i have edited the page and just kept the things i need. Unfortunately i needed to change the policy and after i did that, the page didn’t updated it. It stayed the same. Then i tried to create a new one but that didnt work, too…:( So I wanted to ask if there is any chance to create a new cookie policy? Thanks in advance, Arthur

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @atani,

Editing the Legal Documents (for instance, with Gutenberg) will disable the Complianz synchronisation. The sync is needed to keep your documents up to date. Disabling Sync effectively copies and pastes the document for you to edit, but it stops the plugin from updating the document.

Setting it back to “Synchronize document with Complianz” will revert the document back to the original version, which is updated automatically.
    More information here: https://complianz.io/editing-legal-documents/

As for creating an entirely new Cookie Policy: you can delete the current page and re-generate it by navigating to Complianz > Wizard > Documents > Update/create Pages.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Jarno!

Thanks for asking. Unfortunately your tipps didn’t help. I can’t create a new policy. Actually that was my question. It’s not possible to create a new one, the plugin doesn’t react at all. Anyway, the solutions you proposed are not satisfying at all.

Thanks anyway and all the best wishes

    Hi @atani,

Can you verify that in the Complianz Wizard > General > Documents > “Select how you want to add your Cookie Policy.” has been set to “Generated by Complianz”?

That would be necessary in order for the plugin to know that it should create a new Cookie Policy page, when you click “Create Pages”.

Let me know if you have any updates regarding this. I’d be glad to assist further.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @atani,

I noticed on the website that the Cookie Policy had been successfully updated/changed from /datenschutz to /cookies, so I assume that this thread can be closed now.

If you require any further assistance, please let us know.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno
