Free version is near useless

    The free version has absolutely zero configurable settings. You can’t change the star color (it’s black and white), you can’t remove the text shown after the stars, nothing at all. This is just a waste of a plugin installation.

    Brett, the description of the plugin is very clear on this. For many people, this is all they need. If you need more, the pro version is inexpensive and does most of what you are asking for.

    This reminds me of an old joke:

    ‘Two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of ’em says, “Boy, the food at this place is really terrible.” The other one says, “Yeah, I know; and such small portions.”’ You got what you paid for. If you don’t like it, write your own plugin.

    In any case, if you need to change the color or hide the text, you could easily override the default styles with your own CSS. You do know how to do that, don’t you?
