When trying to run a scan for cookies on a client’s website I noticed that the prompt for the cookie scan now says it runs through “CookieYes”. Is this now a separate service? Why is the pricing different for CookieYes on CookieYes’ website? From everything I can tell CookieYes and “GDPR Cookie Consent” are the same product but it looks like it’s trying to get us to connect a new account?
Even after creating a new account I keep getting errors when scanning about “could not establish connection try again later”.
This makes absolutely no sense to me and I don’t understand why there is no information anywhere on whether these are even separate products.

    Hi @waxmikhail,

CookieYes is our GDPR solution that works for all platforms where the plugin is just for WordPress sites. The plugin uses the scanner service from CookieYes to facilitate the cookie scanning feature.

As for the connection issue, kindly share us the site URL and cookieyes account details via this form.
