• This plugin is great if you need just a basic forms plugin, but that’s not where the real power lies, the guys at NinjaForms know this which is why there’s a “Dev Mode” that can be turned on to lets developers take forms to a whole other level.

    Thanks to the great hooks and filters provided in the plugin as well as the ability to create custom ones; I have used it to build robust custom integrations that do things like creating PDF shipping labels after form submission and sending Push Notifications to mobile apps after form submission. The possibilities are endless.

    Things I don’t like in the name of Open-source:

    – The plugin isn’t available on Github for contributing to, I couldn’t find a public version of it, so it seems to be in a private git repository
    – Good documentation but some docs are lacking, if the docs site was on GitHub I’d also be able to contribute some docs and make changes to others
    – There’s an official NinjaForms Slack channel where fellow devs help others, but there doesn’t seem to be any NinjaForms team member in there, or at least any interacting with us…it’s just us providing snippets and helping other devs where we can
