• I thought that moving all my files from my /wp directory to my public_html directory and changing my .htaccess file to just /index.php instead of /wp/index.php would get rid of my annoying /wp extension…but it didn’t. Luckily after moving all the files back to a /wp directory, my WordPress started working again.

Then I thought it would help if I changed my blog URL options. From my Dashboard, I scrolled down to the Settings menu. I clicked General Options. I changed my WordPress URL to https://glorietta.org instead of the actual https://glorietta.org/wp. I also changed my Blog URL to https://glorietta.org. I realized my mistake only after the fact.

I’m thinking that I should have left my WordPress URL at https://glorietta.org/wp and only changed my Blog URL to https://glorietta.org.

    Help please?
