Unlist posts from Google but leave them in search

    Hi,
    I want to prevent some posts from being indexed by search engines – but still allow the posts to be found by using the local search facility on the website. The logic being that the search facility is only accessible to signed in members.
    Is this possible using the unlist posts and pages plugin?

    P.S. I thought I could make this work by using this plugin and the Ajax Lite search – as per another support message – but it looks as if the Ajax search has now been modified!

    Hi @hanslopevillage,

    As mentioned in the plugin’s description, when a post/page is unlisted using this plugin then that post/page will not come up in the search results or anywhere on the site unless you have the link of the post/page. So, you can’t do the thing you explained using this plugin. However, I believe that an SEO plugin like Yoast SEO can do that.
