Plugin settings is not visible at my site.

Hi @ngospelmedia,

If you have a WP Multisite, the plugin settings are only visible if you go to My Sites > Network Admin.

If you don’t have a WP Multisite, make sure the plugin directory is hide-my-wp. Use the File Manager to go to /wp-content/plugins/hide-my-wp

Also, you need to be the administrator of the website to see the settings.

i am an administrator of my site, and my site is not a multi site, but a single site, my other website the settings are showing but my is not showing…

and the settings button link is not showing on the plugin page

if i tried to access the settings page with this link: https://ngospelmedia.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=hmwp_settings

I get below error message:

It seems to be an issue with the role capabilities.

To see the menu in the plugin you need to have the capability: hmwp_manage_settings

This capability is added to the administrators once the Hide My WP Ghost plugin is installed.

A solution is to add a plugin to edit the user role and to add the capability hmwp_manage_settings to your user.

What i saw is ” Hide my wp trusted” Capabilities, i did not see hmwp_manage_settings how can i delete the plugin database files? to see if it will be resolved!

This is why you don’t see the menu.

Did you install the free plugin from WordPress or the PRO version from https://hidemywpghost.com?

Normally the hmwp_manage_settings capability is created when you activate the plugin. Try to deactivate it and activate it again.

I installed the free version sir

I just deleted the plug in and install it from www.remarpro.com plugins, but it didnt work…

maybe deleting the plugin files and n database might solve this issue

Try to add the capability “manage_options” instead of “hmwp_manage_settings” to your user. It should work for the free version of the plugin.
