Form redirect on page not found

  • Hello,

    I am using Contact form 7 for a long time and on one website it has a really annoyed and weird problem. On submit of the form, it redirects the user to the 404 page, when I am changing the template and I am adding on another template it works.

    The website is build up using a custom theme and it is not working only on the contact page.

    Is there any solution for this?

    When I am submitting the form with empty data it shows the warning section without the text. On console it shows an error:

    index.js?ver=5.4.1:1 TypeError: Cannot read property ‘querySelector’ of null

  • sound like your template has some script that change the normal behavior of wpcf7. can we take a look at your website? or can you check if there are custom script for wpcf7?

    Lately with the new update I think we have a lot of errors using the contact form 7.
