All of the Jetpack Email followers and blog followers are missing.

Any ideas on where to begin on recovery, or if recovery is possible?

I believe that my data is now linked to a staging site set up via my hosting provider’s tools. I may have cloned my production site onto that staging site, and then connected that staging site to your WordPress.com account, thus taking over my production site data with that new site.

Is this something that I can resolve or do I need help?

    Hi @husdom

Could you please share the URL of your staging site? We will try to transfer followers and stats to submrs.com.

    Thanks!

    Hi @husdom,

That’s not a big deal – we should be able to track it down anyway ??

I did some digging, and I found this URL: submrsdev.wpengine.com

Is it possible that this is the correct staging site?

If confirmed, we’ll be moving the stats and the follower over submrs.com

Look forward to your reply, thanks!

Yes, that is absolutely the correct staging site.

I appreciate all of your help and also realize the error that I made to create the situation. Much appreciation for the assistance and the education…

    Kindest regards

    Hi Mr Fox

I’m afraid there are no followers associated with that staging site.

Do you know roughly how many followers you had on the site?

Are there any other staging URLs that could be in the mix here?

    Thanks

It was in the thousands… Is it. because the staging site has been deleted?

I thought for certain it was [email protected]

    Hello,

After contacting wp-engine the address was:

    sub1dev.wpengine.com

They saved the previously deleted install. Jetpack is installed on it but deactivated.

    Kindest regards

    Hi Mr. Fox,

Thanks for that – I was able to find your subscribers and followers, and I’ve migrate them over to the proper blog ID.

Would you also like for us to merge your historical stats over as well?

    Cheers.
