    I changed the names of days and months from in English to Bulgaria in locale.php but two problems appeared
    first in the calendar the sort name of a month is diplsayed only with the foirst caracter followed by ? – eg – ??? instaead of ???????
    and second on the login page I got the following error message:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/dodica/public_html/test/wp-includes/locale.php:1) in /home/dodica/public_html/test/wp-login.php on line 42

    any ideas?

    The second problem is caused by whitespace somewhere in the file(s), usually before <?php at the beginning or after ?> at the end.

    Thanks for the answers – I double checked – there are no extra spaces etc.
    Could it be from misinterpretation of the cyrillic caracters?

    I still could not solve the problem:( The strange part is that the calendar is displayed as I want it on the blog and the errors appear only in the login
    I am using 1.5 if it matters

    Problem solved
    Sorry for disbelieving, but I could make everithing work fine just after using the buil-in file editor in wordpress.
    I just could not figure out why any other software – notepad and notepad++ inluding – were so prompt to add hidden symbols…
