    Hey.

    Every notification is sent twice. Super simple site that posts news, and every time a news post is published it triggers the notification to be sent. But since some updates ago, every user gets TWO emails / notifications. And I can’t seem to see why?

    I use the WP Mail SMTP with my own domain smtp configured. It has worked perfect for two years, but not any more.

    Thanks for your message.

    Has anything else in your hosting set-up changed?
    Common causes for duplicate notifications are:
    * Another plugin has updated and caused the issue
    * A caching plugin is now using object caching
    * Server has become underpowered due to website growth

    I’ve had a couple of reports of duplicate notifications recently but I’ve tested every which way and I can’t replicate the issue at all. Currently, i’ve been boiling it down to 3rd party issues but if there is an issue with BNFW, naturally, I’d like to fix it.
