    I recently updated to WordPress 5.7.1 which is higher than the advertised version the plugin is tested to. Might this be why markers contained in my markers file are no longer displaying on the OS map? I appreciate the plugin isn’t advertising support for the current version of WP and I was a bit hasty.

    I have not tested with 5.7, but I’m not doing any further work on this plugin.

    As you will be aware from the warnings posted in the plugin and by email from OS, Ordnance Survey is switching off the OpenSpace maps service in August this year as it has been superseded by their new Datahub maps service. There is a new plugin available to support the new service which is compatible with the OpenSpace plugin.

    You will need to get a new API key for Datahub maps. Once it’s set up, and you deactivate the OpenSpace plugin, the new plugin should just work with the existing shortcode.
