    Hi

I have a problem on several wordpress installations, on different servers with different themes and plugins installed, even a fresh installation has this error.

When trying to select an area in a paragraph in the build in Gutenberg editor I hover the mouse over the paragraph. Instead of outlining the block/paragraph the entire block/paragraph turns black and I am unable to see the content.

Anyone have an idea? I have google a lot, but I feel like I am the only one with this problem ??

What’s common? I’d first look at your browser. Use a private/incognito window to eliminate any browser extensions/plugins. Also, check the browser’s error console for javascript related errors.

Thank you so much, incognito view did the trick

Do you have any idea what might cause this in the browser? I cleared the cache and disabled the extensions of the browser, but the problem is still there.

I can always use the incognito view, but hopefully I don’t need to

Nope, but in addition to extensions, there are all sorts of settings. Google for “factor reset” and your browser name.

I turned on inspect, and found an extension (Lingit) set default on by my workplace that I am not able to turn of myself… I think I need to talk to the ICT-department ??

    Thanks for your help.
