Album Not showing

There are no javascript files loaded for wppa.
Do you have any kind of optimizing or security plugin active?
What is the setting of Table IV-A13 Defer javascript on the Photo ALbums -> Settings admin page?

the setting for defer JavaScript is enabled

Untick that box, this will add the js in the header. Maybe you have some plugin or other mechanism that discards the load of the js in the footer.

I’m having the same issue. I tired adding a parent and child folder with photos, they show in the manage album, but when I go to the website, they do not show. All my other older albums work expect the new ones. Is it possible for you to help me?

Can you supply me a link to the site showing any album, and tell me what the id of the missing album is? Are there photos in this album? (how many?)

Parent folder is 32 named 2021, child folder 33 is named South Mountain Creamery
and the other is Parent 34 named 2022 and Child folder is 35 named Jan.

And what is the shortcode on the page?
Do album 32 and 34 have the same parent as the albums 2018, 2019 and 2020?

This is the shortcode: [wppa type=”cover” album=”2.4.24″]

Yes set as none

album="2.4.24" means albums 2,4 and 24. Change it into:
album="2.4.24.32.34"

It is easier to create a ‘master’ album, and set the parents of the albums you want to show to that master album; then use shortcode:
[wppa type="covers" album="39"] (if 39 is the id of the master album). Note covers (plural) to show the covers of the children.

Now you do not need to change it when you add a new one, as long as you set the new albums parent to the master.

I think i found out the issue, but how do i get the shortcode to auto update the newest parent folder:?

BTW. If the albums you want to show are the only top-level albums, you can simply use shortcode [wppa] This shows all ‘generic’ albums (who have their parent set to —none—

Can you help a novice?
I have set up Photo of the the day and up until a few days ago, there was a photo shown
When I go into settings there are 3 photos in the selection showing as I expect. However on the home page of the site, the Photo of the day widget says “photo not found”.

Can you guide me in simple terms what might be going wrong?
