• Hello.

    Awesome slider.

At the link above, you will notice, near the bottom of the page, the slider has part of a slide display on the right, which is outside the margin of the site.

Can you please tell me how I can prevent it from displaying..?? I want just 3 slides to display.

    Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Try ticking the “DOMContentLoaded event” checkbox (under “Other Settings” in the right-sidebar of your slider settings).

    Hi.

    Appreciate the quick response.

    Unfortunately, that did not help.

Are you running any optimization or caching plugins?
If so, then try deactivating them to see if the issue is resolved.

Some caching/optimization plugins have the option to combine all the page’s JavaScript into a single file at the end of the page-load. This feature can cause issues.

    Hi.

No, I am not running any of those plugins. This is still an under-construction site and so very few plugins so far.

Not sure what else it could be..?? Any ideas..??

I see that you are using the Avada theme. Are there any optimization/performance settings within the Avada theme options – if so, maybe have a look here.

    Looking at the Avada documentation:
    https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/installation-maintenance/avada-speed-performance/

Under “Dynamic CSS & JS” there is an option “Enable JS Compiler” – try disabling this option.

    Hi.

That option was not turned on.

Here is a snapshot of that page:

Other option you can try disable:
    Disable: Image Lazy Loading
    Disable: Load Stylesheets In Footer

In fact before you do this, try switching to another theme (e.g. the default WP 2021 theme). This will be a temporary switch to test whether the theme is the issue – the front-end page will look rubbish but u can see if you are having the same issue with the slider using another theme. If it is the theme, then look into disabling the performance settings within Avada.

    (@wpfiend)

Both those options are turned off, as per my screenshot.

If you look at the site now, it has been switched to a default WordPress theme. Unfortunately, the problem remains.

Ok, now I’m scratching my head…

I suppose the next step is (temporarily) deactivate all plugins, except Slide Anything to test whether its a plugin causing the issue.
(if so then you will have to activate plugins one-by-one, testing between each activation to determine which plugin is the culprit)

I’m also having the same issue. Did @wpfiend discover a solution for this? I’m also using Avada theme.

Part of the adjacent slide (on right side) is showing inside of the container. Strangely when I open inspector in Chrome, it automatically resolves the issue. But when I turn off inspector and then refresh the page, it happens again.

    Unfortunately, no.

Unless the plugin developer(s) figure this out, I am removing this plugin from all our websites and future under-development websites.

That’s a pity as it was an awesome plugin other than this one factor.

    (@simonpedge)

Well the common factor here seems to be the Avada theme.
I’m hoping that someone with the Avada theme installed can suggest a solution within this forum – I do not own the Avada theme myself.

I know that Avada has a ton of optimization settings within its theme options, and I would guess that changing one of these settings may resolve this issue. The fact the the issue resolves when you resize the browser window or when open the Chrome inspector suggests its an optimization ‘timing’ issue where the WordPress jQuery is being loaded after the Slide Anything JavaScript.

Hopefully someone in this community can find the fix and be kind enough to post it here. ??

    Hello!

Not here with a solution, but i’m having the same problem with BeTheme. Also, the slider is off centered. Any idea what that means?

Here is my site, the slider is the one on the dark blue background.

I used the same slider on this page and no bug, so that may help?

    Hello Again!

I just fixed the problem for my site. I changed the content width of my slider to boxed and reduced the width until the part that was appearing on the right was gone.

Maybe this can also be a solution for your sites?
