I keep encountering this issue where my site’s navigation menu stops displaying properly, and other elements stop functioning, with LiteSpeed running. I’ve followed some of the recommendations mentioned here:

    https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/ts-optimize/
    https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2018/01/31/troubleshooting-lscache-optimization/

I’ve appended to my page URLs in question /?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm to see if they display normally again — and they do. Subsequently, it is recommended that I turn off all my JS / CSS optimizations — which I have done. Everything displays fine again after. This was about a week or two ago.

Now, the issue has appeared once more. You Can view a screen recording here: https://we.tl/t-KEaIhjWnKA

To get it displaying normally again, I usually flush the cache of the pages in question. This time, I’ve marked them as “No Optimization”. The issue disappears… for now.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

I’m really impressed with what you’ve done to troubleshoot this issue yourself, very nice job. And, thank you for providing such detailed info as well as a video demonstration of the problem.

Here’s my suggestion. If you can consistently reproduce the problem, please make it happen and then go to LiteSpeed Cache Toolbox and generate a report under the “Report” tab by clicking the “Send to LiteSpeed” button. Once the report is sent, make note of the report number and then go to https://store.litespeedtech.com/store/submitticket.php to open up a ticket with us. Be sure to include your report number in your message in addition to a detailed description of your issue. If you can’t reproduce the problem, then please follow my suggestion when it occurs again. Either way, we’ll do our best to troubleshoot it for you.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

Please forgive my bluntness, I am not exctly sure what does the screen record should reveal to me…

but you can always proceed with old fashion way

if you are not sure which option(s) gives trouble , you can always reset to default setting first , and start it from there , e.g

    1. if default works ,

    2. then only enable certain part of options , then check again

    3. enable few other options if step 2 works out

    4. and repeat step 2-3 , until you can narrow down which option caused trouble , then we will how can it be dealt with.

    Best regards,

@qtwrk You can compare the screen recording to what is currently on the site and see how the menu displays. It’s not working properly.

The thing is, this issue doesnt appear for weeks at a time, and when it does, it interrupts my day-to-day ecommerce operations. People can’t complete sales. So I need to solve it right away. I don’t have time to troubleshoot it.

@qtwrk Right now the problem has disappeared because I’ve set the page(s) to No Optimization from the LS drop down menu in the WordPress black toolbar.

But yes, as you mentioned: when the LS problem does appear, the product drop down menus don’t work. And the menu doesn’t display properly. Even after I’ve turned off all CSS / JS optimizations. The only temporary solution I have found is by clearing the cache.
