Change number of items in Media Library

  • Hello guys,

    We are using WP now since 4 years… Great… but…

    We are using the Media Libray without NextGen Gallery and other plugin and we would like to know how is possible to change the number of items (images) listed in the media library page.

    We have checked the code of media.php and also media-upload.php but like our knowledge on code is not very good, we didn’t found whre we can change the value to have for e.g 20 pictures listed instead of 10.

    Thank you for the solution but I forgot to tell that the one I need to change is on the popup list when you click on the “insert” option into a post ?? Sorry.

    Well that number 10 is hardcoded in a number of places in wp-admin/includes/media.php. If you do change it remember you will need to change it after each WordPress update. Better to NOT change it.

    sorry for the delay. Many thx for the answer, i have modified myself the code and is working.

    I agree that is not the perfect one solutions and it will be deleted in a future upgrade but it help us a lot !

    Maybeshould be nice to adapt the function via the admin ?! in the place of Media library value, add a new line Post value ?!

    Should be nice too.

    Anyone know a way we could hook some code into this to change the number of media items per page?
