Widget in admin shrinks

    I’m trying to add some widgets, but when I add one, it shrinks down to just showing:

    Delete | Close

    I have tried various different widgets and they all do the same thing, whether text, Page, Categories, etc.

    I’ve tried on both my Mac & PC and am having the same problem.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    That was weird. It was a theme problem, but uploading the functions.php file sorted it out, although it was identical to the one already on there.
