footer showing event listings

    The events listing page somehow overrides the footer setting so that the listings are again repeated in the footer of the page. I can’t figure out how to turn this off.

    You can ask your theme provider about this and they may have a quick fix for this.

    eg.
    It sounds like your theme is perhaps using the_content() in the footer somewhere, perhaps using custom queries that don’t reset properly or take CPTs (custom post type) into account.
