    Hi,
I am helping my village history group to create a WordPress website – https://www.fairlighthistory.co.uk
We have a defined set of users who are our members. We are using the User Registration plugin to allow our members to log in (so that they can see non-public information).
The standard login page invites users to edit their profile details – but there aren’t any and I don’t see the benefit in having them. How can the message “From your account dashboard you can edit your profile details and edit your password” be removed?
    Thanks,
    Bill

OK so I have found the code that generates this message in dashboard.php and I have commented it out. Is this the right way to do things – (it doesn’t feel like it)?
    Thanks,
    Bill

I think that I’ve even put the revised module in the right directory of my theme now!

    Thanks for writing in,

For now, what you have done seems to be the correct way else you will have to opt for a premium add-on.
