• Fantastic plugin. I’ve gone through four booking systems in the past 6 months — this looks like a keeper.

I have some client sites I’d like to migrate over asap. Is there an easy way to import an existing inventory?

Also, the sidebar widget is handy, but it would be good to also include the search box, rather than just the availability calendar? Maybe I’m missing something.

    Thanks!

  • Hello, thanks for the feedback.

We currently don’t have a way to bulk import inventory. This is on the road map for Q2.

As for the search widget, we’ve added your request to our wish list!

    Best,

    Hi Brian,

Just in case you come back this way, what other booking engines did you try and why did you feel Checkfront was the best. And, Jason, if you’d like, why is Checkfront better than the rest.

    Thanks,
    Kawika

We tried Supersaas, Booking bug and Webervations as well as an open source one for Joomla (Joomrez or something like that) before Checkfront.

Checkfront has a pretty slick UI and integrates well into our website. The others were so so, with Webervations being the worst.

What one works best for you will probably depend on what you business needs are. You may just want sit down for an hour and try them all, and take your pick. For us, that was Checkfront.
