• Hi,
I have a very strange bug on my blog (running 1.3)

    “Sometimes” (I’ll discuss this later) the <head> section is a total mess, with <?php bloginfo('pingback_url'); ?> or <? echo get_settings('siteurl'); ?> returning https://frenchfragfactory.net/ozh/wp-login.php?redirect_to=/ozh/wp-admin/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-images/wp-admin/wp-images/

Needless to say, the site is totally broken with such an output.

I’m using 1.3 with nothing particular, rewrite rules made up by WP. The weirdest part being I’m not sure when this bug happens (hence the “sometimes”). Sometimes my site displays fine, sometimes the two template tags go crazy and output the above.

Any idea where to look ?

Upgrade to the latest Nightly Build and, using phpmyadmin, check the siteurl value in the wp-options table of your WordPress database and set it to the URL where all of your WordPress files are located.

the weirdest thing is, when everything screws up, I log in, and everything goes fine again. Even if I log out, everything stays as expected. Till the next time it breaks.

    So weird.

I guess it’s something server dependant, the apache is known to be very weird on my server (funky root admin).
