membership and password protection
-
Hi guys,
I have this wordpress project going on, and the client wants me to create a password protected area which will only be available to site members. People should become site members by paying some money which is supposed to be done through the site – preferably somehow via paypal (if you’re already a site member then login, if not – dont have a username/pw – pay me and you’ll become a member , i.e. you’ll get your name and pw).
So, i guess i need a couple of plugins to do all of this for me, one for some kind of membership management, and one which could direct the customer to pay to my client’s paypal merchant account. I found out about some plugins made for that kind of stuff (php members, and perhaps eShop), but I’m really not sure. But, besides your help on deciding which plugins i’ll eventually use, i need your help on figuring out how to provide that the customer’s payment to my client’s account automatically promotes him to a site member, i.e. how to organize/integrate those two (or more?) plugins to work together in a way that the customer will automatically receive an email with, for instance, the name he left in the paypal payment processing form and a random password, which will allow him to login into password protected area, as soon as his payment went through?
I hope all of the above makes sense. Any help will be greatly appreciated.Regards,
Zarko
