    Hello,

A great and useful plugin I love it.

Since the recent update I have noticed a minor issue it reports an error with subheading distribution yet there are only around 90 words in the post. The Post consists of a small gallery and a little intro text.

    Error
Subheading distribution: 1 section of your text is longer than 300 words and is not separated by any subheadings. Add subheadings to improve readability.

    Thanks,
    Tracey

We’re sorry to hear that the Yoast SEO plugin’s subheading assessment isn’t working as expected. We’d like to help get this resolved.

Could you let us know if you’re using the WordPress block editor or the Classic Editor?

The Yoast SEO plugin only analyzes content in the default WordPress block editor or in the Classic Editor. If you’re adding content to a page using third-party page builders, widgets, or custom fields, Yoast SEO may not be able to recognize that content.

In addition, could you please show us some example URLs where the issue occurs so that we can take a look at them?

    hi,

    Using classic on latest WP.

It was only one post the issue was on.

    thanks,

@scruffy1 Thanks for verifying your setup. Referring back to the main problem where you mentioned to us that there are only around 90 words in the post. The Post consists of a small gallery and a little intro text.

Given the situation, you may ignore the warning. You should consider your audience and the page’s purpose.

Not all your dots need to be green on every page. These are general guidelines, not strict rules that will hurt your ranking. If you feel your page is properly formatted and has a good user experience, then these warnings can be safely ignored and you should not sacrifice user experience to get the green bullet. You can read more about this on this article on our website: https://yoast.com/want-green-bullet-wp-seo/

Please, let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.`

    Hi,

I am ignoring it but that does not fix the issue and perhaps it is something that should be looked at for the next update.

    Thanks,

    Tracey
