    Hello,

I noticed there was a bug when using an Elementor widget from The Plus Addons collection (https://theplusaddons.com/widgets/) with YOAST SEO activated.

When using a widget such as “Style Lists” (free) or “Image cascading” (Pro)

When I start editing the fields to the left of the screen, after some clicking it get stuck and indicate an error in the inspector console.

The select2('destroy') method was called on an element that is not using Select2. select2.full.min.js:1:73251
        select2 [site_URL]/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/select2/select2.full.min.js?ver=4.0.3:1
        jQuery 2
        select2 [site_URL]/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/select2/select2.full.min.js?ver=4.0.3:1
        destroy [site_URL]/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/editor.min.js?ver=3.1.4:2
        onBeforeDestroy [site_URL]/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/editor.min.js?ver=3.1.4:2
        Backbone 5
        Underscore 2
        Backbone 5
        onSortStop [site_URL]/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/editor.min.js?ver=3.1.4:2
        each jQuery
        onSortStop [site_URL]/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/editor.min.js?ver=3.1.4:2
        jQuery 19

The error seems to indicate a conflict between a YOAST SEO file and the widget.

When I descativate YOAST SEO, I can edit the widget without any trouble.

Is there a way to fix this (without desactivating Yoast SEO) ?

    Versions :
The Plus Addons for Elementor Page Builder Lite v 2.0.7
The Plus Addons for Elementor Page Builder v 4.1.10
    Yoast SEO Version 16.1.1
    Elementor Version 3.1.4
    Elementor Pro Version 3.2.1

    Thank you

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out regarding this.

If you’ve found a conflict with another plugin and Yoast SEO, we track plugin compatibility issues on GitHub. We’d appreciate it if you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. If you haven’t already, we also ask you to report the issue to the other plugin developer as well. https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new

Additionally, we highly recommend reporting plugin conflicts to the developer of the conflicting plugin as they may have additional information vital to providing a resolution. Having both teams work on the issue is a benefit to you.
