• Hello,

    I have a problem after updating the plugin from 1.11.6 to version 1.12.2.
    On version 1.11.6 the conversion tracking data gets shown in GA but in the new version 1.12.2. there is no conversion data available in GA. I have read on the forum and found many topics with similar problem.

    Did anyone manage to solve this problem?

    Regards, Jan

  • same issue for me. hope this gets figured out. i uninstalled the plugin and everything manually. this obviously isnt a priority for the developer.

    I have the same issue. Normally there are 100+ unique purchases reported in Analytics. After installing the update there are only 1 to 3 a day…

    Hi @jkslo,

    I placed a test order on your site but I can not see any issue.
    Have you reverted back to an earlier plugin version? If yes, do you have a test site where you can activate v1.12.2?

    @bmsinc @studiobrabo pls post a site URL or else I can not try to help, thanks!

    @duracelltomi it is on https://www.hardyskeuze.nl/ but I reverted to the old version.
    It also happens on https://www.pigandrye.nl/, which is basically the same checkout.

    The weird thing is a few orders are reported.

    Maybe it has to do by (not) switching payment method or shipping method? I saw in the source that there where some changes on that matter compared with previous version.

    Does gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC need to be in the regex in GTM?

    On https://bestellen.secetendrinken.nl/ I’m running the new version, but I added gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC in the regex. That seems to work…

    Is this maybe the solution?

    I’m seeing the same. The analytics goal “Checkout complete” is recorded (=visit to order-received page), but the “Transaction with value x” is not recorded. This after updating to the latest version.

    @studiobrabo
    Can confirm: adding gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC to the regEx in GTM fixes this issue.
    Previously this (apparently) was not required for transaction data to be sent.

    @saens
    where have you added that “gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC”?

    @mackowiakmda
    In tag manager there is a trigger (mine is called ecommerce helper or something along those lines) which has a regex with some gtm4wp stuff. Add the line there.
    Be sure to look at the triggers and NOT the tags.

    @duracelltomi can you confirm if adding “gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC” is the solution? Or will this cause double entries? Thanks in advance!

    @studiobrabo – on pigandrye.nl I can not place an order without the need to use my bank card. Are you using Klarna Checkout?

    Yes, adding gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC solves the issue, it turned out I unintentionally left out from the changelog that this update has to be added into your GTM setup.

    I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
    I will update every doc immediatelly.

    @duracelltomi thanks! and keep up the good work!
