• This plugin is great!

I would love to see a feature in the free or pro version to disable plugins based on certain user-agents.

For example, certain ads, analytics, or user-feedback plugins may not be necessary when a known bot is visiting the site.

In my particular case, I am generating some internal requests with a custom user agent and would like to prevent caching and analytics plugins from firing on these requests.

Thanks for all your hard work.

    Hi @lukelol

thank you very much for your proposal.

This is already planned in the PRO version, but it hasn’t a high priority because this feature will generate many support requests and it will be implemented only after the PRO version is stable and we are sure most of the users have no problems.

This feature may generate many support requests because if you have a full page cache, as most of the users of FDP, the code of the plugin will not run when the page is served by cache and it will not be possible to detect the user agent. The only way is serving a different cache depending on the user agent, and not all the caching plugins do that. Users who have a caching plugin that doesn’t distinguish between user agents will think this feature of FDP PRO doesn’t work.

In any case, FDP PRO will have this feature, and also others that require attention about the cache (deactivation by time, IP address, country, user agent…). But as said all these features will arrive later.
