After updating to 2.06, had multiple issues.
Deinstalled complelely 2.06, reinstalled, activated, issues again.

    Deinstalled, reinstalled without activating.
Looked at the list of plugins from control panel, there appeared to be *two* instances of UltimateFaq.

With FTP, found that, sure enough, there were *two* php files in the plugins/ultimate-faqs folder, with plugin headers.

Hid the “Main.php” by renaming it to Main.php.hide, and the activation succeeded.

  • Same issue for me. Thanks to this post I removed the “main.php” file and it works again.

    Hi,

Thanks for letting us know about this. We’ve just released an update to correct the duplicate entry issue. The Main.php file is in there to help with the issue of the plugin not re-activating if updating from 1.x.x to 2.0.x.

I guessed that much. Well, it may be helping for that, but… ??

(2.07 seems to work fine now. Thanks.)
