• Hello:

Some time ago I had someone design a custom theme for me. Everything was working fine until I noticed that for the category pages the short flash banner was not playing. This same flash banner is playing fine on all the other pages.

So I try to find a category.php page in my “mycustomthemes” directory but coujld not find one. So I was read a bunch of Forum topics and documentation but I am still unclear where that file resides.

My category URL looks like this: https://www.my_domain_name.com/blog/category/chairsandtables

I compared the code on the web between the index.php page (where this flash movie does play) and the page above. The only difference is that on the index.php page the reference to the flash file is relative (e.g. swffolder/moviefile) while the reference to the same flash file on the category page is the whole domain name (e.g. https://www.my_domain_name.com/blog/wp-content/themes/mycustomthemes/swf/top.swf )

Maybe if I can figure out how to change the whole domain name addresses to the relative “internal” addressing it will solve this problem.

I am an absolute noob with all this and the guy who set this up is long gone.

Can someone please tell me what is going on?

    Thanx in advance.

    –wpf.
