Issue with custom field!!!!!!

When there are two payment methods and the buyer first tries to pay using one method, and then returns to the payment page and tries to pay using the method created in your plugin, the additional field disappears. The shopping cart has products and the order amount is not zero. The buyer simply sees the payment method without an additional created field and can make an order without entering data into it. This is a problem for us. This happens all the time. How can I fix this so that the additional field created in the payment method is always there?
