Populating a contact form from a CFF form

Hi, thank you so much for your reply! I haven’t had much luck getting this to work. Just to clarify, the second form I am using is not a CFF form …. does this make a difference? I thought perhaps I could send the values as a parameter from “page1 CFF” to “page2 other form”. I added a button to my CFF and added the following to the onClick event:
parent.location.href=”https://3daydoors.co.uk/contact-form-unglazed/?var1=@fieldname3_value@&var2=@fieldname5_value@&et_pb_contact_width_0=@fieldname6_value@”

But this doesn’t actually send the values.

I then tried creating a new page with both forms on the same page, using your shortcode in the article, and this hasn’t worked either (and the shortcode is still displaying on the page, rather than being a hidden field)

The shortcode allows you to populate a second form created with our plugin, with the values submitted by the form created with our plugin too. We cannot offer you support for third-party plugins. OK, that’s fair enough, thank you. But could you possible just let me know how to phrase it so I can pass the values of the form in the URL? Then I can figure out myself how to get them into the other form. As I mentioned, this hasn’t worked in the onClick event of the CFF button:

Hello @nikkic123

You cannot access the fields simply by their names in a different context than the equations. You should use another alternative like jQuery or javascript directly.

Another alternative would be to generate a global javascript variable with the URL from the equation associated with a calculated field using the generateURL operation (https://cff.dwbooster.com/documentation#url-module) and then navigate to the value of the global variable from the onclick event of the button.
