Topbar issue

Following the latest update to Sinatra, the top bar has increased in height. I have it showing on PCs and tablets and holding a shortcode that displays a random quote. It used to be a narrow ribbon across the top of the site, now it’s the same height as – or even higher than the main header. I can’t see any way to reduce it.

Do you have any suggestions?
