    Hi!
    I’m having the following message trying to connect my AdSense to Google SiteKit plugin:

    Ad blocker detected, you need to disable it in order to set up AdSense.

    A few notes:
    – I’ve tried this in PC Chrome and Edge;
    – I’ve tried this in Iphone Safari and Chrome;
    – I’ve cleaned the cache everywhere;
    – I deactivate Caching in the only optimizer I have: SiteGround Optimizer;
    – I deactivate Caching on my SiteGround Site Tools;
    – I’ve used two Adblocks Chrome extensions to deactivate Adblocks;
    – I deactivated my firewall and web protections;

    None of the above solved the problem!

    – I have a Cloudflare CDN and did not deactivated it;
    – My AdSense is configured and working normally, but I cannot connect SiteKit.
    – I already have ads on the site showing on.

    Please help!

    Thank you!

  • Hello. I am having the same problem. I hope we can find a solution. If you find a solution, can you share it with me?

    Thanks for reaching out and providing the troubleshooting steps you’ve undertaken so far. I’d be happy to investigate this further if you’d like to share your Site Health information privately via this form.

    I’m also curious to know more on when you mentioned that you “used two Adblocks Chrome extensions to deactivate Adblocks“. Have you tried connecting the ASense module from a Chrome browser incognito window on desktop, so no extensions are active by default?

    We’re also investigating this possible conflict with the GoDaddy CDN in the below GitHub issue. While it doesn’t seem your site is using the GoDaddy CDN there may be an additional Ad Blocker detection failing:
    https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/3018

    @20batuhan00 If you’d like to open a new support topic we’d be happy to assist with your case individually. If you’re using GoDaddy we hope to have this resolved soon, with one workaround during connection is to temporarily deactivate the GoDaddy CDN during AdSense connection only.

    Hi James!
    I’m sorry, but I guess you didn’t share the private form link.

    Yes, I have tried to connect on Chrome’s incognito window, but it also didn’t work. And I also tried it before having the extensions installed.

    I use SiteGround and Cloudflare CDN.

    Can you access my admin and try to connect it for me?

    Thank you!

    Many thanks for sharing. I’ve setup a site on SiteGround using a similar setup as your own, with the SG Optimizer plugin active with default configuration – without being able to recreate the same issue so far. As this plugin does have features which I suspect could potentially impact setup please follow the steps below:

    1. Login to your admin panel from a browser incognito window
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    5. Attempt to setup connect the AdSense module within Site once more

    You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

    Let me know how you get on after attempting the above.

    hey, I’m facing the same problem in my website. unable to connect absence to site kit.
