    Hi,
// Arabic (RTL) letters not showing correctly (letters are separated).

I have same issue in Arabic font. I have tried both font tajawal and Amiri even I have try on your demo version same issue.

    Note: Issue only in PDF

can you please share the corresponding Arabic text? Then we can check its appearance in font specimens. Actually, pdf library encodes Arabic text else text will not appear in the pdf document. You can check by choosing fonts apart from “tajawal and Amiri”. Any way we check with font specimens. If you only have letter space issue you use custom css for adjusting the letter space.

We have added new font “Markazi Text” with the latest version(1.1.2). Please update and try using this font. We hope that this will solve your problems.

I have the same issue in my website.. I tried all the fonts including Markazi Text

We have checked the Arabic text on pdf against the actual one. When we translating we are settings the same values. So there are no issues in font encoding. So what’s your problem faced here. if it about letter-spacing you can adjust it using custom CSS in pdf invoices. Also, you can check google font specimens when you can see each Arabic font has a unique style in representing characters.

this is not spacing issue. this is encoding issue. the letters are not getting linked together

Kindly test it yousrelf with 0 spacing. the letters are not getting linked together.

Actually font encoding was happening there else font will not be rendered and it will look as when choosing the non-arabic fonts. We can also get actual value when translating Arabic text copied from generated pdf. Actually, the pdf library was automatically encoding fonts we don’t have manual controls over this.
