    Hey,

I’m trying to run a pop-up on my website but i do get “Something went wrong. Please try again” error when a user try to sign up their email address.

I also have a contact form 7 running on the homepage.

Do these apps clash and break one another?

This is whats inside the debug.log:

“[31-Mar-2021 20:55:19 UTC] PHP Deprecated: The use of wpcf7_add_shortcode has been deprecated since Contact Form 7 version 4.6! Use wpcf7_add_form_tag instead. in /home/username/www/website-name/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php on line 351”

    Hi @eazy7,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Sorry to hear you are having this trouble. The error from debug log looks to be related with either plugin not updated or your site running a lower PHP version. Could you please verify all plugins have been updated, and you are running a higher PHP version?

You can also try deactivating this cf7 plugin and verify if it were conflicting with Hustle. Please also provide us with a page URL where the popup is set up so that we can further assist you.

    Best,
    Jonathan S

    Hello @wpmudev-support9

    I can confirm that,

    -My PHP version is 7.4.15
-All of my plugins are up to date.

    I’ve tried disabling cf7, it didn’t work.

    Hi @eazy7,

There’s a console error on your site when the email is submitted and I checked the page with optimization disabled but the issue was still there.
This suggests that there’s something conflicting with the plugin so it would be best to perform a full conflict test by disabling your other plugins and switching to default WP theme.
Check if the submission works after that and if it does, enable them back one by one until the issue is back.
This should tell us where the conflict is coming from so we can debug it further from there.

I suggest doing this test on a staging site, or if you don’t have one, make sure to have a full site backup of your live installation before doing the test there.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Hello, @wpmudev-support9 @wpmudev-support1

I’d to give an update about the issue:

    – For some reason it works on my end. I write my e-mail address on the pop-up and auto reply email works. (desktop aswell as mobile)

    – But when someone else with different IP tries to do the same (mobile), it gives something went wrong. Please try again. Error

Does it suggests anything else besides plugin conflict?

    Hey @wpmudev-support1 @wpmudev-support9

    – I tried disabling all other plugins on a staging website, still didn’t work.

    – I tried changing theme, no luck.

    I fixed the issue.

It was the IP restriction settings to certain admin pages. It was causing error when submitting the email in the opt-in. I removed it and it is now working.

    Thanks for the support.

    Cheers.
