Events Page

Hi There,

I’ve recently used WordPress to create a content managed website which contains many pages including the blog. I also have an ‘Upcoming Events’ section which has it’s own custom template. The template uses the WordPress loop – just like the index.php page – but is set to display only posts categorised in ‘Events’. The loop displays my information correctly except for one thing…

When I post something within the Events section, I have a fairly large post explaining the event, so I want to add the ‘more’ link so the user doens’t initially see the entire post. The code for this is set up within the loop however the link does not display on the page and the entire post is displayed, rather than a snippet. Is this because it uses a custom template rather than index.php?

Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated ??
