I can’t find the section to add a CPT anywhere. Where’s it supposed to be located?

    Hello,

Thanks for the feedback. The Dynamic Post Type module is located in “Tools > Post Types”, as described in the documentation: https://www.acf-extended.com/features/modules/dynamic-post-types

If you don’t see that menu, please check that the show_admin setting is correctly setup. See ACF documentation about show_admin setting: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/how-to-hide-acf-menu-from-clients/

    Have a nice day.

    Regards.

No problem. I would recommend to bookmark the documentation, as this is where you’ll find all useful information about all ACF Extended features (and there are plenty!).

    Regards.

Hi, I do not see the place to add a CPT either. However when I look at Settings > Modules tab > Post Types I have the checkmarks.
Also tried adding add_filter(‘acf/settings/show_admin’, ‘__return_true’); to my finctions.php.
    No change.

    Hello,

Thanks for the feedback. Have you checked the “Tools > Post Types” menu? This is where the module is located.

The show_admin setting should be used in special cases where you decided to hide ACF menu to clients. If you see the ACF menu, then you should see Tools > Post Types menu. You can also check that you have the correct role/permission. By default ACF & ACF Extended require manage_options permission.

Otherwise you may have a compatibility problem, or a custom code somewhere which disable it. To make sure you should try to use a fresh WP install + ACF Pro + ACF Extended.

    Hope it helps!

    Regards.

Never mind, I found it ??
For anyone look in Cutom Fields > Tools, that’s not where this is happening.
Go to main Admin menu “Tools” > Post Types. Also has taxonomy… yay, more stuff to play around with ??
    Thanks!
