    Hi.

Our client has some special requests and I would like to know if there’s a solution for them. We have tried tintegrating ProfileGrid with RegistrationMagic to solve them, but without success.

1 – Conditional fields: Some fields should become “required” after selecting an option on a radio field (If “yes”, then field B becomes “required”). We know there are conditional fields on RegistrationMagic, but those fields won’t be conditional on ProfileGrid’s “Edit Profile” page, right? Are they only available on the registry form? Is there another way to do this?

2 – We have a group of fields (Education) with several text fields, country and date. It should be possible for the user to add more than one “Education” entries. Is there a way for the users to “duplicate” this group of fields for themselves or add more than one entry on the registry form and profile page?

3 – We would like to add an explanation for some of the fields. Right now we’ve used the paragraph field to do it, but it doesn’t support links, which are required for that explanation. Is there a way to enable rich text or just links on the paragraph field?

4 – In the “Edit Profile” page, the name of the uploaded files doesn’t appear. Only the file icon is displayed. Is there a way to show filenames also in the Edit Profile page?

5 – Users should be able to add a PDF file with a description for other users to see. Is it possible to add a public description when uploading a file?

    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards.

    Hello @hugomd,

Thank you for writing to us.

Currently, the features requested by you are unavailable. We have made note of these requirements and will review them for possible inclusion in a future release.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi,

So the plugin does not allow, in any field, to insert a clickable link/url?
And when editing, the names of the uploaded attachments do not appear?
There is no solution/workaround for these two cases?

    Thanks.

    Hello again,

Any news on these two issues I mentioned?

And by the way, how can we translate the registration forms? That is, translate the fields, labels, etc. that appear on the registration forms and individual profiles? I’ve tried with WPML and Loco, but these fields entered by us don’t appear. Only the plugin strings are available for translating.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Currently, the field to insert the clickable URL is unavailable. We have noted these two issues and forwarded them to our developer team and surely, we will consider this for a fix in one of our future releases.

To translate the fields labels, please put the fields name in translated languages in field settings.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
We look forward to the resolution of these two issues.

Regarding the translation, I confess I didn’t understand.
I can’t find those “field settings”.

    Let’s suppose I have a label in 3 languages:
    EN: Business (original)
    ES: Negocio
    FR: Entreprise

Where exactly do I put “Negocio” and “Entreprise”?
Can you send me a print or link?

    Thank you.

    Hello @hugomd,

Currently, ProfileGrid does not support the WPML. You may put the field name for one language in field settings. Please check the link for reference: https://ibb.co/WVBP75f.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hello again,

Yeah, that’s what I suspected. So your plugin doesn’t allow multilanguage, is that it?
Or is there an alternative to WPML?

    Thanks.
